So, I'm afraid that I have fallen behind on my blogs that I had said I would do a daily entry on this month.. which I was extremely excited about -- I'll save that chatter for the next entry however.

XB1 Review.
As I stated a few days ago, that I had recently purchased the next gen console of xbox. I had actually never purchased a console since Playstation 2 so to decide on a console that I was to be purchasing was rather difficult. I was going to opt to go with the Playstation 4; I really want to play the exclusive games that it has (the last of us is amongst the list). I was actually set on this and excited about it as I have numerous friends that have this console whom I have never had the opportunity to play with..
but, as soon as it was announced that xb1 was releasing a bundle pack with Assassin's Creed: Black Flag and Unity.. I had my answer. I was going to be an xb1 junkie. Now that I've given you the "back story" on my decision, let's get into the review -- shall we?
Kinect.
I decided to go with the Kinect bundle -- now, I've heard things about this always watching you and kind of creeping people out. But, honestly.. if I were to be freaked out by that, I could live being freaked out at the fact that the same sort of thing occurs with our cell phones. So, I decided to do it for the simple fact that they do have some games for the Kinect that I enjoy playing (in particular Just Dance). It's a great family bonding experience and if I can play these games on the xb1 VS my Wii, I will. I honestly do not keep the Kinect connected unless I am going to use it, I don't see a point in doing so. I was surprised with the quality of the video that it does take and I look forward to using it in the future.
Controller.
The controller has a matte like feel to it which I wasn't fond of when I first placed it in my hands. The size and buttons were similar to the old controller (minus a few new ones in the same place) so that wasn't an issue. And, I will admit that the more I play with this controller -- the more I am getting use to the new feel. There is something that I don't like about it however, I don't like that I will no longer be able to use my turtle beach headset due to how the controller is set up. :'(
Headset.
The headset is amazing. I was surprised.. I was never fond of the old one as it seemed to be low quality and would cut out or do that annoying squeal.. but this one is crisp. I could hear something chewing their food and they could hear me open a water bottle and drink. I love that it's simple and isn't this big clutter fuck that I have to have on my head.
System.
The graphics are outstanding.. learning your way around the new format was easy. However, I was pissed off for a good few days when I ran into issues with the NAT. If you don't have an open one, it makes it difficult to connect with other players. Sometimes it can be an easy fix with your IP. However, if you run on a Moderate with a private IP -- it creates an issue where I can't fix it unless I were to call my internet company. It truly irritated me as I don't think there should be any issue with connecting to whomever you want. This issue made me question my choice for a couple of days.. and I'm still weary about what other issues may arise when I come across more friends on this system.
Thanks for listening to me ramble, lovelies.
Until next time.. xoxoxox
