I've barely been around on my daily social media websites either.
How are you, guys?
How did you ring in the new year? Anything exciting happening in 2015??
My life has been nonstop movement.
My sister gets married in October of this year and I'm MOH. So, I've been
doing a lot of planning and preparing for that. She is also pregnant and due
in July -- so I've been planning a baby shower on top of wedding things. I've
tried to talk her into eloping in Vegas. If I get her to do that, who's down to
party with us??
Also, work has taken quite a drastic turn.
I've always been super busy and content doing what I've been doing. Due to my
ability to do my job and do it well, it's been noticed by my Market team (if you
aren't familiar with how retail works -- a Market is over a group of stores, in my
case it's a group of seven stores) and selected out of ten other people to be a
part of an Inventory Readiness Team which means that I have meetings in all stores
within my market. This started in February and will end in August -- so I've been
quite busy attempting to maintain a work/life balance and still manage to accomplish
everything that I want to.
I'm also currently attempting to locate a new car.
And, I must say that car shopping is rather annoying. I've never been in a situation
where I don't know what I want. When I bought my first brand new car, I knew exactly
what I wanted and it was a breeze to get it. Since purchasing it in 2009, I've realized
that I should of maybe also paid attention to MPG. So, although I'm still in love with
my car -- I would like to get something that gets more than 19MPG. Yet, I still found
myself adoring the 2015 fusion which would be an update from my 2010.. but, would still
have the same MPG issues. The struggle.. I tell you!
My goals for 2015 are actually quite simple and easily able to maintain.
I want to focus on myself, my family and my friends. I want to laugh often and smile daily.
I am in search of love and however it finds me, I will embrace it tightly.
Are you excited for what 2015 will bring?
I know, I know. It's just another year.. but if we continue to look at it that way, we will
remain stuck in our own sad dark corner watching life pass us by. So, please get out of your
corner and try something new. Whether that's something new for that week or that month. Just
please attempt to make yourself happy and share your successes or failures with me. But, don't
give up.
Oh, oh.
I'm also going to get a tan this year!
So watch out for that. ;3
